Berea College Scholarships for International Students At Berea College, students are not required to pay tuition. The No-Tuition Promise ensures that there will be no financial burden placed on any student who is accepted into the program. Berea College is the only institution in the United States that offers full financial support to all overseas students who enroll in the institution during their first academic year there. The total cost of tuition, room and board, and fees can be partially covered by the combination of financial help and scholarships.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
All enrolled overseas students are eligible for financial help and scholarships that cover the whole cost of their first year of study at the school, including tuition, lodging & board, and fees. In succeeding years, it is expected of international students to save a minimum of one thousand dollars (US) per year to contribute toward covering their expenditures. The college makes it possible for international students to fulfill this requirement by offering them work during the summer.
A payment in the amount of $2,200 (US) is required of all internationally accepted students before their registration can be officially confirmed. International students have access to this deposit for the duration of their four years of enrolment, which can be used to cover a variety of costs. Additional financial aid is available for students who are unable to pay the deposit in full or in part. This money can be used to cover the deposit.
Eligibility:
In order to be considered for admission, applicants need to demonstrate that they have achieved exceptional scores on either their secondary or leaving exams in their home country. In addition, applicants are required to submit their scores from a recognized standardized test such as the TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, or ACT. Duolingo is also an option. The following is the needed minimum score for each test:
- The paper-based TOEFL score was 520, the computer-based score was 190, and the internet-based score was 68.
- IELTS: overall score of 6, with a score of 5 in each area
- ACT Score: 19 Composite Points
- A combined score of 980 on the SAT
- Rating on Duolingo: 95

Berea College Scholarships for International Students The application must be submitted in its entirety by the 15th of January at the latest. The application deadline for early submissions is on October 15th. The beginning of each new academic year occurs in August of the following year.
