3# Gold Seal Cape Scholarship (GSC):

4# Gold Seal Vocational Scholarship (GSV):
3.0 weighted grade point average in all required classes

Get a certain score on either the ACT®, the SAT®, or the P.E.R.T. examinations by the 30th of June of the year you will graduate from high school.
General Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a citizen of the United States or an eligible noncitizen, as decided by the student’s postsecondary school, in addition to being a resident of Florida.
- After receiving your high school diploma, you have until the 31st of August to finish the FFAA.
- Either get a high school diploma from a Florida public high school, a Florida private high school that is registered with the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), or a home education program that meets the requirements of a regular Florida high school diploma.
- Unless the student has been granted clemency by the Governor and Cabinet sitting as the Executive
- Office of Clemency, they must not have been found guilty of a criminal offense or have entered a plea of nolo contendere to the charge.
- Obtain acceptance into, and enrollment in, a degree or certificate program at an eligible postsecondary institution located in Florida that is either public or independent.
- Have a minimum of six non-remedial semester credit hours (or the equivalent in quarter or clock hours) for each term that you are enrolled in school.
Specific Eligibility Requirements:
- Complete your secondary education at a public high school in Florida and earn the conventional diploma required for graduation in Florida.
- Obtain the needed minimum score on either the ACT® or SAT® college entrance exam by the 30th of
- June of the year in which you will be graduating from high school;
- Completing the requisite number of hours of volunteer work or 100 hours of paid employment and submitting an FFAA application by the 31st of August following graduation from high school are the requirements.
